I received a "thank you" gift today from everyone. I was very surprised and I am very appreciative!! I really enjoy being involved in the online community just for the fun of doing stuff like this with you, but I am very grateful for the recognition and reward. You guys are great! :D

I will have everything sorted by tomorrow. I'd like to finish the current practice draft though, unless you guys are all confident in the method and process already.

Glad you enjoyed it!
I say we finish the practice, since we are almost done anyway. :)

I don't see any problem with finishing the practice draft, as SSchmidt said there are only a few picks left.
Happy to hear you liked your gift :D

I have the main draft photo ready! All will be revealed as soon as the practice draft is complete, so get those picks in! :)

The only thing I changed to what we agreed to previously was that I consolidated the two parts of the finger hinges into one pile. I figured nobody would only want one half of the hinge assembly. :tasty:
If there is any issue with that, let me know.

I'm excited to get this going! :D

Oh man!
I thought it would be another day or so before everything was ready. I only suggested we finish the practice, because I didn't know the REAL DEAL would be ready this quick.

Now I can't stand to wait! I vote we go ahead and get started!

If everything that has transpired thus far in the practice parts draft proceeded as it should, I don't see any large reason to complete it (other than for the sake of completion), as I'd think that would mean we all understand how the real parts draft will work.

Plus, I am back at my main base. While I will easily be given a few days to rest and recover, I'd think the sooner the better as I can get a tasking order at any time, and I'd rather not hold anything up.

If we knock it all out in a single sitting, perhaps we can leap on Skype to discuss possible trades?

Starting the real draft now is fine with me, I think everyone knows how it will work, though we can still finish up the practice draft :)

For Bronx's sake, I think it would be appropriate to start the draft sooner? Is that fine with everything?

I made my suggestion actually for your sake, Schmidt. Not just you, per se, but for all of you in the draft.

I have no problems doing this later. I am incredibly patient. Too patient, actually. :? I just presumed, however, that it would be best completed sooner than later. Heh.

Whatever the group decides, I'm with it. Barring a major crisis or incident (I am knocking on wood, literally), I should be around 'til Thursday or later. I'll be lurking these boards while I catch up on some PS3 trophy hunting. :D

I would think after this everyone will want to just go ahead and start.

What games are we trophy hunting? :tasty:

I think that #1 pick is burning a hole in Sschmidt's pocket! ;)

OK, I'll add the rest of you to the photo so you can review it and let me know when you're ready to begin! :D

Not sure if I'm jumping the gun with this question, but what photo? I don't think I saw anything new on your stream or any indicator that I was added to something.

Picked up the platinum trophies for Dead Space 3, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Dead Rising 2 in the last twenty-four hours. :D Going to clean up some other games before moving onto Uncharted 3 and Golden Abyss (Vita).

Bronx, I just sent you the link. You should also be able to find it if you join the "Lego Drafts" Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/legodraft/

If anyone wants to follow along with the chatter, you can join the draft discussion thread on Flickr at: http://www.flickr.com/groups/legodraft/ ... 4549030267

Sshmidt's first pick was the horses, and Strongbad (Lil Brudder on Flickr) has selected the Rohirrim Torsos w/ Dark Green arms for his first pick.

This is really fun already! :D
