Toysrus has bogo 50% off at the moment. Normally, that's not a great deal, but considering it works for the new hobbit sets I was stoked.

Got two Mirkwood elf armies for $45.00. Threw in a 6 dollar skylander and got free shipping for over $49.

$45 for two of that set, this early in its life, is a win for me!

AK I'm trying to figure out how to successfully convince my wife it was ok for me to drop another $45.00 on LEGO, after I just spent $60.00 last week for hobbit polybags and the y-wing.

Maybe we need a thread on how to convince your spouse the LEGO you just purchased was ok.

Haha, sometimes I make a deal with my brothers, I get them something (one of them likes transformers), they get me Lego sets! Or give me money, so I can get my own.

And if anyone is looking for deals, every time I go to amazon, they are having some kind of deal!

Going off the Toys "R" Us 50% off sale comment, the new Hobbit sets there are actually priced the same as other retailers. Not sure if anyone else on here has experienced Lego sets at TRU being marked up 10+% of what it normally costs at the Lego store online or Target. I guess a reason for that could be Toys R Us usually keeps older sets in stock longer and gets newer ones in earlier than other places but it was good to finally see that the sets were finally fairly priced.

I just picked up the Mirkwood Elf Army and Lake Town set for $65 over the weekend and it was a great deal considering they were just released and at regular price so the buy one get one 1/2 off was definitely worth it

I just saw on TV that Toys R Us is having a 2 for $4 deal on Collectible Minifigs tomorrow only (Wednesday the 11th), which is almost a straight BOGO. Seems like a great chance to scoop up some of the CMFs you've been wanting to get.

In other deal related news, I found a LOTR Pirate Ship Ambush on Amazon Warehouse Deals for $56.xx. When it came it looked brand new. I was tickled to death to get the seat at that price.

Toys R Us also has $25 off a purchase of $100 or more. Unfortunately, the hot ticket Barrell Escape is not applicable to the sale. However all the new hobbit sets are! Rather than pay MSRP, get a few hobbit sets up to $100, then knock $25 off the price. Not too bad, but I know much better deals will be head 3-4 months from now.

ALSO, everyone needs to get in their Christmas mode. At the end of the year, we will once again see some major deals at retailers, clearing out old stock and making room for new

If you want it, you better get it quick. This won't last long. If I hadn't just dropped another $70.xx at TRU, I would have so totally picked this up.

It is 100% complete and there is nothing missing according to AWD. It does have minor cosmetic flaws in packaging. When I have ordered LEGO like this, the boxes have been beat up and that is it. This is a great deal IMO.
