Buying in bulk

Post by kor »

I wasnt sure where the best place to put this would be so forgive me I picked the wrong one. I want to find a place where I can buy grey bricks in bulk. 1x1,1x2,1x3,1x4,etc. Most of the places that I've found on brinklink just dont have enough or there to dang expensive invidually let alone buying them in big quntities. I didnt know if anyone knew of a good resource. Thanks.

As Lego has stopped producing old greys they have become more expensive. I've bought 1,000 lt. gray bricks in all (500 1x4s, 500 1x2s) a week ago. Yes, they were expensive totalling up to $79.50, not including S&H. But they were worth it for the tower I was building.

BTW, this thread should be moved to the Buying/Selling/Trading forum.

Other than bricklink you could check out lots on ebay. From time to time people sell lots of grey bricks but piece quality is hard to determine from a photo. Perhaps try a pick a brick if you have one near you. Some may have old light grey bricks.

All threads on buying LEGO do belong in Buy/Sell/Trade so I am moving it there.
