Right. I won't open it :-)

And if the 375 in the auction mentioned above is unopened why are the parts loose in the box? Where are the bags? I suppose the box was opened, maybe the castle built once and put back in the box.

Hi Jojo,

I agree completely. When I looked at the photo I immediately knew something was wrong. I think someone got a box and decided to make this "misb" copy. Its sad that they are decieving the bidders for such a high price.

Well, it has probably been opened.

if it hasn't, people wait this long so they can make a lot of money! It's up to $595 right now.... I have 2 of the original Lego snow speeders that I won't open for years.... It's kind of cool opening boxes for sets that haven't been available in a long time. It sends chills down my spine. :D

Er... Yeah, I don't exactly see any plastic bags, and it isn't the tight packing that I would expect from MISB (pieces strewn all over the place). Also, it's quite possible that those stickers are not the real stuff either. Some guy was selling printed sheets on eBay a while ago, as some of you may know. James Brink (I think...?) also had a scanned 375 sticker set on his site that one could have possibly printed off and passed for the original from the distance the photo was taken at.

Right.

This is what it should look like:

Yep, that's what I suspect, too.
MISB = Man, I Should open that Box
Depends on what box it is :-) You should not open a MISB 375 but rather sell it and buy three used in very good condition.

Heh, yeah, but I never get good sets MISB. Just some KK1 and Star Wars. :)

Quite sad that this person is taking advantage of some unwary collectors. :(

There are some well known (from eBay that is) collectors in the bid history. They are supposed to take care of themselves, and usually I would assume they know what they are doing. So it's their own cup of tea to deal with what they will get.

DROOL...

Anyhow, I pretended to be an interested buyer and asked why the "sealed" set didn't have the small plastic bags. I wonder how he's going to answer!!
