But I don't know whether it would be a good idea or not. Does anyone know if the weapons fit nicely into a minifigure's hand, and are the weapons pretty sturdy or are they cheap? Thanks for your time, I sure appreciate it.
I doubt you'll regret them if you buy them. I have a set of the old line, and I think they are equal to the quality of Lego. Beware the sharp dagger though.. it CAN draw blood.

I like them.

The only bad thing about Lil Armoury weapons is that they don't come with official sets.

Quite frankly, they are equal to the ABS weapons TLC has put out, and they are superior to the PP weapons they put out. In quality of material. As far as design goes, they are way cooler.

It will be well worth it for you to buy them.

Sturdy: Yes.
Well-Designed: Yes.
Recommended: Yes.
Fits-in-Fig's Hand: A little Iffy (first set).

I rather imagine the new weapons fit better, since I'm aware it was a concern with Jeff after the first set. The first set of weapons mostly fit, but not consistently. Sometimes an axe might work fine, another might be slippery in the same fig's hand. Those that have a handguard and pommel built-in might be a tad loose, but they don't slide around.

I just got some weapons from Little Armoury, and as others have said, the quality is amazing - I highly recommend him. Sometimes, the weapons do slip a bit, and the visor on the helmet could use some tightening, but overall, the weapons are cool, fun, realistic, and very enjoyable.

Go ahead! Buy them!

The reason why it might not stay up(raised)every time, is because
of the shape of that particular helmet. It's not rounded like other
helmets, so it can't physically be raised to extreme positions.

Here's something you can do if your visor is too loose -

Place the visor between your thumb and first finger, so that
the sides are what you're holding. VERY carefully, and slowly,
press the sides towards each other . It doesn't take a lot of
pressure to do this. Just 1 or 2 slight squeezes will make
a world of difference on the helmet.

NOTE -
Too much pressure WILL break the visor. You've been warned.
