Christmas Fig Exchange

Post by JoshWedin »

Okay, here is the new thread. What kind of regs should we have for the fig exchange? We also need someone to be in charge (Legolas? it was your idea. I might be willing too). We need a cutoff date for sign ups so that we can get this done by Christmas. Any other thoughts?

I'm interested in exchanging a fig with one of the California members. Great idea!

We can both be incharge if you want, drop me a private message, so we can discuss the rules, then we can post them up by the 1st...

Rules off the top of my head

1. Cutoff date = I was thinking the 10th or maybe the 15th of december...

2. They should have accessories, but they don't need to be fully loaded.. Basically a sword, shield and helmet are fine. Optional accessories would be euro armor, cape, beard, helmet accessories and such...

3. The minifig doesn't need to be castle oriented, just as long as it's castle useable. Some Star Wars figs are acceptable, as well as Oreintal Expedetion and Harry Potter.

4. If you want to participate private message me with your location, that way I can match you up with someone closest to you...

Reply back to this post with any suggestions or thoughts about the rules I have stated..

You're on!

I'm going to send something great, so in exchange can I expect a Forest Maiden?

Seriously though, I'll send something within the rules that you'll like....

It looks like it is coming together. But so far it is just you three Californians and me up here in Northern Washington! I feel like an outsider all ready. :)

No way! You can't be, I live north of Seattle. Actually, I live about an hour north of Seattle (Sedro-Woolley). Where are you at?

Anybody live in Western PA?

ps. I'm afraid I won't be able to give a "Great fig" perse. I only have KK1 knights.

You could give a great fig! Just use the one you're showing as your avatar on the left of your post!

Unfortunantly the cape is ripped, the sword is nos so shiny andymore, adn the trso is beat-up....BAD. :D

But all is well. I could give another fig. Unfortunantly I don't have any Euro aromor, Ninja armor, or shileds besides kk1 and forestmen ones. But who doesn't want a Forestemn Shield. Right?

Hi All,

Legolas and I are in process of working out the rules for this. They should be done around the 1st of Dec. I am keeping a list of those who can participate and locations as well. We will have more information shortly.

Thanks,
Josh
