How much would you pay.....

Post by Jacob C. »

Whats the most you guys would pay for a brand new Black Falcon Fortress?
I noticed some at an online dealer for $70 a pop.
I was thinking of buying a couple but then again Im hesitant at spending a lot of money

I'm sure the other folks here would have a better idea than me, but I think $70 is a pretty good deal (assuming everything is in good condition and accounted for). This set is pretty old, and it's a classic for many fans - you gotta have at least one. ;-)

Old or new version?

I think $70's a bit overpriced, but that's just MO.

$70 is too much - you can do better. You should be able to find a sealed Legends version for $50, maybe a few dollars less (I KNOW you can find it for $50 right here, because I offered it here for that much a couple of weeks ago). It hasn't been out of production that long, so there are still a fair number of sealed copies floating about. An original version (sealed or opened and used) is tougher to say on price.

Oh yea... I assumed you meant original... ;-)

I have no idea how much the "Legends" sets go for...

It would be really tough to prove if something is the original release, or the Legend... Although having the box and/or instructions would help a lot!

Yes, the box and instructions would help determine that but also if it was opened you can tell. The shape of the shield on the figs and flag is different.

The new one also has light grey swords instead of dark grey swords.
