I'm guesing that the reserve is ATLEAST 500-700 bucks. He said that he would like atleast a fraction of the thousands he spent on all this stuff.

What's not worth what? THe lot has tons of figs, accesories, and 35 horses complete with saddles and bardings. Plus there are some other very detailed siege weapons. These could be sold for a pretty penny for sure.

I am pretty sure it is worth it. That is a lot of old figs. However the siege weapons aren't lego. They might be worth something, but not to most of us. I am too lazy to price this out on Bricklink, but I do think it would go for more than the current bid of 355.

I msut agree with Josh. I already new that the siege weapons weren't LEGO but I'm sure the avid historical/ medaival times collector wouldn't mind having these in his collection.

And I spot atelast ten to twenty classic figs. This lot is certainly worth  it.

I dunno, if you priced it out on bricklink, this would be VERY expensive, but I don't really think that its worth it! Its a nice variety of figures, but the current bid is $465 and the reserve still isn't met!

With something such as this, its better to divide it into smaller lots. I mean, where some people are looking for more Black Falcons, others may be more interested in the Forestmen. By selling them as a single lot, you really reduce buyer interest! Personally, I can't see shelling out that much for minifigs unless they are all ones I want.

I really wouldn't want the cowboys, tribal shamans, skeletons, Royal Knights, Pistols etc... And I don't really think that light grey axes, or black spears are really all that rare. Simply put, while I wouldn't mind owning some of this stuff, there are a lot of items I could do without.

What I would like to know is, who is willing to pay $500 for this?

Definitely not me. I agree with you, while the price is still less than buying all of these on Bricklink, it just isn't worth it for the stuff most of us would want. I wouldn't be surprised if the reserve isn't met at all.

Seeing it has climbed this high I must agree with you guys. It ISN'T worth it for it being so large. Though, those of us who may be starting a castle collection and not looking for select minifigs would find this auction blessing if we had the money.

That's a Playmobil siege tower in the pic. I have one too.

Did anyone notice the real armor in the one pic? Well, at
least the feet/lower legs that is. Mmmm...real armor.

Real armour...

For a Hobbit  !

Very cool replica, but looking at the baseboard, trash can, and the Playmobil seige tower, that armour can't be more than 4 feet high!

Still, very cool! Now if only that was included with the lot...

Later.

This auction is not worth it to me. Why not just buy $500 worth of castle sets and get about half this number of figures and tons of old grey bricks and other accessories to play with? Sets are always the better deal.
