Hey, I was planning on making a few WW2 tanks when I noticed I have nothing to use as treads. After looking through brick shelf I found these:

Does anyone know if you can get these on BrickLink and what their called? Thanks!
Tank treads, where to buy?
They're called "conveyor belt links". Yeah you can get them on Bricklink:

Hope that helps!

Go to Bricklink, go to Search, enter link in the Keyword box, press Search, then see what comes up.Trigger wrote:Does anyone know if you can get these on BrickLink and what their called? Thanks!

Hi Trigger,
First: The image in your post was too large. Just use a link if the image is larger than 400x300 pixels. Next: This is a thread on buying and belongs in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. I will move it there. Finally, read the CC terms of service here:

I suggest checking out pitsco.dacta for the treads. They are expensive but probably cheaper than bricklink (since most people get them through dacta).

Currently there are very few of those Tank treads, I call them that and I don't care what others call them as I use those for military vehicles.
Anyhow, I think the best thing to do is to WAIT for those new Star Wars sets to come out. http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eur ... 762523.jpg
This set called Wookie Attack has a some Droid Tank vehicle in it that contains plenty of those "conveyor belt links"...err TANK treads. Although they are in some new more metallic color.

I was wondering what color those treads were! I thought Maybe clear, but I couldnt tell. I was already planning on getting two sets of those, or maybe ordering off of Bricklink just for those treads. I have been wanting to build a nice tank for a few years, but so far I have been sorta just building castles.JPinoy wrote:Currently there are very few of those Tank treads, I call them that and I don't care what others call them as I use those for military vehicles.

however I saw several parts in there that I could use for castles (and no I am not going to say what) and I thought I could use the treads ... fer shure.
