I need red clams/oysters!!!(Trade Prefered)

Post by Scnicker »

I'm looking for red clams/oysters for my Atlantis project sooo I need 20-25 of these oysters and I'm offering chests/barrels for two clams. So this means, a barrel/chest:2 clams. I send the items the next day I hear from you so I'm waiting for some of you to post here.

Can you give me a hint as to what these parts look like? I may have some in the big lot I bought recently but don't know what it is you are looking for. I tried a bricklink search but no luck.

Considering I've never heard of them, LEGO oysters must be pretty rare. I don't mean to be too negative, but I don't think a barrel is a very good trade for two rare pieces.

Actually it isn't all that rare, the +4 pirate sets have them and also belvilles have them too. I may send money also if anyone is interesten. Check out my Atlantis project on the MOCs page, there's an oyster there.(I don't want to buy pirate sets because they're so lame :D )

If you aren't going to sell/trade what so ever, why do you even post? I just want the people who are interested to post here. I'll pay for 10+ clams/starfishes. Otherwise, I'll trade for something the seller wants.

Thanks for posting the links Devari. Yeah I love the crab too. I'm ordering 50 red oysters from Bricklink and I may also order some crabs and starfishes :)

That would look cool. However, there is only one crab on Bricklink right now http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?invItemID=8564 and it is pretty spendy. It may take you a while to build up a crab collection. :)

Oh Megablocks :) Well, my Atlantis can do without some crabs I suppose, but can't do without clams and starfishes :)
Btw, I finished first of the Atlantean buildings, the tax office. IT doesn't feature oysters/starfishes what so ever but It look s pretty... Mediterinnean(I hate the word) You may say, mediterinnean??, So check out : www.discoveryofatlantis.com
I was pretty convinced with the prooves that the website gives us.

I am sorry to say I don't have any of these in the big lot I am sorting so far. If I come across any in the next while I will let you know.
Good luck with your project.

um, if your going to do an atlantis moc, there is a new belville set that has i beleive three yellow crabs and 9 clear yellow starfish and 5 clear purple starfish, 6 of the clear purple oriental fish, 4 clear orange oriental fish, 3 baby blue tower parts. an anchor, three clear green vines, 4 clear pink/purple of the spinasourus backs, a couple of clams, some croussaunts, some clear green goblets and a bunch of translucent 1x1's and 2x2's, and some jewels and shiny things, lol.
it is $69.99 though :( ,

oh it also comes with two light breen baseplates, 12x24x1, two big translucent green doors, and a big clear blue treasure chest. and a big sea horse and two or three translucent blue muffins.

oh by the way, i dont own the set i just saw it in a lego magazine when i was browsing it.

hope this helps. :D
