I think its coming to the US eventually. I've already got one, its still in the box, since I'm waiting until I have a good place to display it.

How much did it cost?
I didn't see a price at shop@home.

Hello!

Don't worry, the Maersk freighter will be available in the US as well. I'm pretty sure right now the Maersk sets are onboard of a Maersk freighter to the US :-)

It was something like $80, as I recall.

Awesome set!

Mainly, though, I'm chiming in to this thread to take note of Jojo's new status. I like the new icon a lot.

I too noticed and liked the change. I would like to see all of Jojo's past avatar's along with the status it went with. He is a very creative fellow.

Thanks Meister for pointing this out.

I think it will be like before, part of the production run will go stay in
Europe and another part will come to North America. Unless Jake
says otherwise.

If it doesn't, I don't care because I have 4 of the original.

Btw, I like your new avatar, Jojo!
:)
Congrats.

After all the negatives comments about re-releasing the set, do you think anyone took advantage of Lego's offer to buy back the set?

I rather think people sold their original released Maersk Ships to eBay-buyers. And they probably got more than they had paid for before.
