20% off sale in my store.

Post by wlister »

Hi All,

I am having a 20% off sale in my store. My son's Gamecube died today, it wasn't his fault, so I am trying to raise some cash to buy him a new one. About $100.00 USD

I am also throwing in one or two bonus castle related parts in each order made by Classic-Castle members, just mention you are a Classic-Castle member and I'll give you a little bonus. (No requests, I like to send surprises :D )

Check out my store at: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=wlister

Thanks,

Will

Great! Take this chance and get him into LEGO instead! Or buy him a book! :-)

Bye

This is just the sort of nonsense up with which I will not put.

Hi Jojo,

My son has more Lego than the average AFOL, somewhere in the 200,000-300,000 part range. (One of the reasons my store isn't huge  ) I learned early on the best way to ensure the safety of my collection was to ensure both my kids had more than enough to keep them happy.

He divides his spare time very nicely between art and science projects, playing outside, LEGO and his Gamecube. I think it is a good balance and I am pretty sure some scientist somewhere agrees.

As far a life without the Gamecube, it wouldn't kill him, but he is only 7 and doesn't really understand how something like money could keep him from getting a new one. I was hoping to get a new one for him prior to his birthday. My wife is getting some dental work done and that is going to eat our disposable income for the next few months. Hence the sale.

And David,

All I can tell is that it is not a power or connection problem. While the opening screen pops up the machine quits. I am not all that mechanically inclined, but if you have some advice to fix it, send me a PM. Thanks,

Will

Have you tried to repair it? Usely, after awhile a game system doesn't feel like working. I would suggest seeing if you can repair it for a low price. Or go on Ebay and buy a new one for a low price, lol. I saw one go for $20 on Ebay brand new, so you never know.
