I wouldn't buy one, unless the price was quite low, but it would be neat to see:

Black Falcon
Classic Space guy
Crusader
Forest Babe
Blacktron
Dungaree guy/gal
Skeleton

Naa... unless your going to use it for... gaming? hood ornament? ;-) or something, there's no real point in getting a metal minifig - especially when it probally costs about the same for 5-10 plastic ones.
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.

It might kind of cool, especially if it was detailed and articulate like a regular figure.

Would make a much more sensible keychain than a real fig. More durable, and less likely to get scavenged for parts.

Might make a nice statue for a village square or something.

Exactly. And ya, I'd probably buy one. I think a metal fig, provided it was identical to a regular one, would be awesome.

I would probably use them as statues for the interior of my castles/keeps. But thats only if it's just a plain metal fig (no details).

I'd love a die cast minifig, it's be all one color right, just like that ipod guy.
