LUCKY!!! Those minifigs are hard to get, and the shields sweeten the deal. Just curious: How much did that run ya?

DROOL. In such good condition too! My copy of that set has totally been beaten to death. Maybe I should bite the bullet and buy a "new" one.

It cost me some Star Wars LEGO sets & minifigs... I think it was worth it

Gumby-
I actually traded for another Yellow Castle about two months ago, but the owner lied to me about the condition. He told me it was complete in good condition with instructions... It was actually was pretty dirty, smelled like smoke, was missing about 35 1x1 yellow bricks, & included maybe 4 of the minifigs with two shields (in horrible shape), and three swords... needless to say I was disappointed, but this will more than make up for it :D

It seems as if you suffered from a similiar experience with your first yellow castle like I did. Also my first Yellow Castle was just merely... well, a yellow castle. It was lacking everything what makes a yellow castle the Yellow Castle. Lets face it, a Yellow Castle is not as much defined by the colour of its walls as by the figures and accessories. A yellow building with a couple of blue guys without any accessories or stickers isn't too exciting. And it wasn't much more than this. Luckily it wasn't too expensive.
When I finally got a real Yellow Castle I used the ruin of the first one for the alternative model from Idea Book 6000.

Bye
Jojo

(And yes: I know the official name of the Yellow Castle is just "Castle".)
(And no: I don't count that Yellow Ruin in my set list.)
This is just the sort of nonsense up with which I will not put.

I agree, the Yellow Castle is defined by its figures & accessories. Which is why I was so disappointed by this deal. The really messed up part was that it cost me extensively in SW LEGO  Oh well, live & learn I suppose... At least it included the instructions for 375...

Although, one positive thing is that the deal included a near complete 677 Knights Procession with instructions (missing two shields, but included the solid studs  ) as well as three sets of the minifigs from this set:

WOW

You are hooked up for "classic castle lego"... one of the hardest castle lego to get, in my opinion.

Argh! I've been trying to get a good copy of this set forever on E-Bay... I just lost an auction for it this week actually...

Now that I'm seeing horror stories about "fraud" castles, I'm a little more nervous about it all... I went up to $160 for the castle on E-Bay... if I had won that and gotten junk...
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.
