Big Bag O' Mocfodder

Post by JoshWedin »

Hey All,

My son and I ran into Goodwill, and I scored some a big bag of Lego for about ten bucks. It had mostly stuff from the old Arctic theme, most of the parts from the biggest skateboarding set and most of the pieces to one of the mars rover sets. No castle sets exactly but a boot load of old grey from the Arctic stuff, good heads from the skate set (and more of those ramps to copy Mr. Wells roof idea), a bunch of tan pieces, four of the 16x16 white baseplates, one 8x16 dark grey baseplate, and assorted other coolish stuff. I am stoked! Haven't found this much in a thrift store for a while!

Just sharing...

I never thought to look there for Lego before...!! Is there usually something there worth buying when you stop by? :?:

You have to stop by on a regular basis. We go in about once a week. We usually find something but don't always buy it. My son got a big box (9 pounds) of all kinds of assorted stuff for 5 bucks but that is very unusual. I have also found quite a few unopened sets in the game section (mostly soccer for some reason). You never know for sure what will be there, but we keep an eye out, just make it part of our weekly errands.
