Yellow Castle figures auction

Post by architect »

Hi Everyone,

I want to show several of my ebay auctions:

All the figures to Yellow Castle, Knight's Tournament, and Knight's Procession in very good to excellent condition:

A small lot of Black Falcon crossbowmen, a knight, a guard, and a blacksmith:

Space minifigure pack (ok, I must admit these guys are pretty cool):

383 Knights Tournament figures that are worn:

Although this is not the right time for me due to the chess set and new kk2 sets, my primary focus is collecting these scattered "classic castle" men...

to those who have a bundle of such men, is e-bay the way you did it? It seems that most figs from e-bay have damaged, peeling stickers?

Oh alright -I 'm sure it's only temporary, but you have a TwoTonic high bidder at the moment shilling up the bid. 8)

Yes, ebay is the way I have most of my stickers. The truth is I have many blank armors and peeling armors that are not in this auction. I am putting up my best second set of figures for sale (the first sets are in my collection). I have been lucky to find a few auctions in the past where the figures had little to no wear.

The reason many ebay auctions have highly damaged stickers is that collectors keep the best ones and sell of their less than desirable figures. I gave the best description that I could in order to accurately describe the condition (ie the bent 383 shield which the person I bought it from didnt mention).

Thanks! It looks like you are outbid already though ;)

Yea, your description is good and this auction even seems to be better in terms of fig quality than many others. Often that is not the case, which is why I was so grateful to see the latest article about how to remove/replace stickers. I guess when push comes to shove, diligence and patience will be the only way to collect the best fig assortment.

Hi Everyone,

This is the last day in my figures auctions. As I post, the large one with all the classic guys is under $68 which is a very good price compared to usual prices on ebay. Check it out, help me get to brickfest ;)

Yellow flag - quick check - $113! Well, so much for a last second sneak bid with 45 minutes left. :(

I love the old figs, but I'm just too cheap to pay the price. 8)
