Calling All Surplus Castle Pieces

Post by Commander Redbeard »

:o I'm working on a Lego siege and need the following. If anyone will be willing to trade or sell, please reply.

Custom castle wall segments

Acropolis (Like the thing King Leo's castle is on.)

Minifig body armor

Castle gates (medium size)

I have a whole pile of legos I will trade for or buy these pieces. Please post a note if you are interested. Thanks.
Sitting in a midnight glade
Firelight dancing off burnished blade
A Forestman sits
Wondering about the next day
But after three mugs of ale
Let it bring what it may.

I could probably arrange such a trade. But could you please clarify a bit? Maybe post pictures of what exactly you want, and how much of it. And, what is in this "whole pile of legos?" :D Thanks.
What the world needs now is Lego, sweet Lego.

As for the gates, I need the kind you can find on the western fort. ( Fort Legoredo ) the castle wall pieces are included a lot in the Black falcon's Fortress ( But if you have the kind from the western sets without the window slits they are good also. ) The "Acropolis ' pictures are at this page in bricklink. If you have any, let me know. as for the "Piles of legos," just tell me what you need and i'll see what I can do.

Please don't say legos, LEGO is a verb describing the brick or piece and is plural in itself. So say, a pile of LEGO, or a pile of LEGO pieces.

Actually, if you want to get technical, Lego is an adjective. And according to The Lego Company itself, it should always be used that way, hence "a pile of Lego" is improper, since 'Lego' in that sentence functions as a noun. But that is extreme. Use it how you want, but most Lego fans just recommend never using an 's' on the end of it. :)

I also want to add one thing to this "Legos" discussion. The LEGO company has a variety of different products for children - some of which are bricks. Originally they produced wooden toys. Today we have a variety of bricks, bionicle pieces, clickits, books, watches, keychains, etc. In addition, by calling all plastic blocks "Legos", clone brands can be mistaken for real LEGO. Those are the reasons why I prefer the term LEGO Bricks.

Call them what you want. Just don't call them late for dinner.
