Anamorphic street painting

Postby Bruce N H » Mon Aug 11, 2014 3:01 am

Hey all,

Not quite sure where to put this, so I suppose publishing works as good as anything. I've always been intrigued by anamorphic street art - those street paintings that look three-dimensional when you look from a specific angle. Leon Keer has gone around the world doing a great number of these, often incorporating LEGO themes. Here are some soldiers he recently painted at Legoland Germany.

Those aren't cutouts standing up - here it is from a different angle.

These things really mess with my mind.

I wonder if it's more convincing in a photo than 'real life'.
