 ok... this is getting a little embarrasing... mostly because it has nothing to do with Lego or the thread topic... so to the admins and users, I promise it's my last post here... I feel like my morals are being called into question though, so I have to say something...

>really sorry<
You are right. You did not directly say here's where you can go and download pirated software, but by making the statement you imply that it would be acceptable to do so. If you're just trying to help (as you say) and you don't believe in pirating software then why would you even mention it?
Because as an IT guy myself, friends and relatives are always telling me about their latest download or cool exploit... and believe it or not, a lot of non-techies have no idea that its dangerous (malware, spyware, etc) or illegal -

No joke.

I personally believe that anyone using this forum has or will hear of a Peer to Peer program within the next year or two of their lives... they talk about it before movies, it's on the news, and as I'm sure you know, a LOT of people do it, so word of mouth is rampant.

So I addressed it, and said it was illegal... if you didn't like the implications you (someone with a different perspective than me) got from that, you could have said "building off of what ottoatm said, P2P filesharing is etc etc etc..."

I definatley don't want to make posts like this in the future; especially if they don't relate to Lego, so if your gonna call someone a crook in public, I'd suggest you please have the consideration to check with them (via PM) first.

Thanks ~ and sorry admins/users!

There's a new program that's similar to MS Paint, but improved for WindowsXP. http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net/

I haven't been able to try it out, as it's currently Slashdotted.
