It looks good so far. I like your graphic, quite cool. But I would make the sidebar narrower. It is hard to see the main section with the sidebar that wide.

I agree on the sidebar comment. I thought the same thing when I looked at your site. I had to scroll right and left to see everything in the body of the page due to the width of the sidebar.

While talking about size... I would appreciate if your signature graphic on these forums was a little smaller too.

Yes. Your signature is breaking the forums terms of service. It can not be taller than 100 pixels. You should also make it not be wider than 700 pixels, but 600 would be better. If members continue to have huge signature images the admins may have to ban signature images entirely.

Alright, i went and narrowed it, so if you get a chance, go see what it's like for you and let me know... it showed up just fine on my compy, and i feel like i'm preaching to the choir, but you do know that everyones computer is different, so if i narrow it, like i did, and it looks good on our compys, then there will be someone whose browser setting are narrow, and they'll complain about not being able to see the sidebar, also, everyone can change the size of the frames to whatever works on their personal browser, by just hovering over the dividing line until the arrow shows up, and then enlargeing, or shrinking (delargering?) it til it looks right on your browser.

It's been a while since I've done any serious webpage building, but a good rule of thumb is to assume most people looking at your site have a screen resolution of 800x600. Maybe, this has changed with more 1024x768 LCDs becoming standard, but my opinion is better safe than sorry. If you site looks good for a browser running at 800x600 is should look good for just about everybody.

Also instead of setting a specific size (in pixels) you can set a size using percentage for the frames. For example having the menu frame be 25% and the other frame 75%, then no matter what size a user's browser is, the menu frame will always take up the left quarter of it.

Just as a final consideration, test your website with as many different browsers and operatings systems as you can. Stuff that looks great in MS Internet Explorer might look awful in Apple's Safari or the other way around.

Sorry I haven't had a lot of time to check out more of the site. Also remember it's your website. Somebody will always want things to be different then the way you've got them. Don't let it bother you too much.
