Hey, In this topic, you post all of your cool Lego photos that youve taken that have ben edited in Photoshop. It doesn't have to be photoshop, it can be Paint Shop Pro, or whatever.

At http://jollybrick.cjb.net/ On the front page there's a cool little image i whipped up and it's straight in the middle of the page. Right now I'm working on a new banner, preferably with nice mountains or a landscape in the backround of. I'll post it here when i'm done. (EDIT: now it's finished, go have a look at the banner at the same link as above.)

So now post your images! :D

Hmm... I did this one a couple of years ago, don´t remember what it´s supposed to be though (But I named it Uther for some reason so I have some ideas :P ).

Whoa... I didn't even know your website existed!

Cool to see another story site coming up - and it looks like you've got a firm grasp on the Photoshopping skills.

Your picture in the center of the page is especially impressive - did you use a filter to make that look as it does? I wonder which one?

As for my fun with photoshop, it's all on my story site... but I'll pick one of a beheading since that got some kudos from Nathan recently: (EDIT>>Lowsy Link...!)

Hmm...

A little info on the image:

No real LEGO was harmed in the making of this image. All LEGO in the image is actually an image from LDraw rendered in POV-Ray. The background and special effects were then photoshopped in. The frame was added a long time later after I realized it looked better on my home page.

EDIT: Wanted to add this one to the mix, too (hey, I'm trying to sell these two images, might as well get them 'out there', right?)

Hey,

Just about every week I use Photoshop to edit out backgrounds for the highlighted MOCs featured on the front page. I've done a fair amount of the same for images to use on the forums:

In the course of my Lord of the Rings story, I've done a little bit of editing to add backgrounds:

special effects:

or composite together different LEGO creations:

Of those I'm probably most proud of how the ghosts in the paths of the dead came out.

That looks great, and reminds me of this pic I posted yesterday over on CW.

Besides adding the title banners, I also added some black in the 1632 picture to hide the gaps between the roof and the walls of the house. Oh yeah, that picture has some digitally added-and-swirled baseplate, too.

I love this pic Bruce:

That is a great use of the islander head... I think this head and another similiar one (http://peeron.com/pics/inv/custpics/362 ... 699262.jpg) are perfect for the castle theme... we all need a joker/jester/mime in our castles and street fairs, no? :P

Heh heh heh heh...

Where do you think I got the idea? I actually had forgotten who made that jester, but since I know it's you, I must say, that was a nice find.

Hey,

I was making no claims to originality. The Islander heads have been used by a large number of AFOLs as clowns/mimes/jesters ever since King Kahuka first showed up in 1994.
