minimundo?

Post by Merlin of Lego »

I love this site but it hasn't beed updated since March and is missing any fig that is new in the last few years. Anyone know if this is a dead resource, can we expect updates, or is there some copyright thing that prevents new figs from being updated?

I don't think there is any copyright issue regarding the display of official LEGO figs. However, I haven't heard anything of FolkartThielen, the owner of minimundo, in ages. Maybe he's taking a break from LEGO, or he is tired with collecting (= buying) thousands of new figs each year.

Minimundo...? What exactly is that? Although it hasn't been updated, I wonder if it's still worth checking out for someone who hasn't seen it before?

Hey, that's a great little site! I like how some of the figs have mouseovers, showing the fig with and without its accessories.

Minimundo is my favorite minifig resource. It's really comprehensive up until a few years ago. Be sure to check out his MOCs, too. Outstanding stuff.

While I agree it is a great site, since it hasn't been updated this is the site I have been using. Just a little info, just in case anyone might want it.
