The Ultimate Lego Book

Post by Shadow »

Does anyone have one of these?:

If so, do you know when LEGO will come out with another?

Just wondering...

I never even heard of this... what is it, a book of big MOCs by LEGO Master Builders?

I've got this.

Yeah, it shows pictures of tons of MOCs, especially in LEGOLand, and also has some great building ideas, ways to build, and inspiration. It has a timeline of the LEGO group, how they design products, and all manner of MOCs from the masters. I'll see if I can get some scans (or would that violate copyright law?) up soon.

It is basically an indepth introduction to Lego. It has a history of the company, articles on the various Legolands, info on master builders, pages and pages of models built for the parks, an article on how themes are developed (uses Rock Raiders as an example), and lots more. It is definitely worth picking up.

Edit: oops, I posted this right after E. I guess great minds think alike!

Hey,

If you go to Amazon you can see some of the contents. On this page you can click the thumbnails over on the left-hand side to see some pages, and if you go to the see inside you can see some more pages, including the table of contents and index.

It's an awesome book. Great content with clear pictures of lots of little fun facts. A short history of the LEGO Company with a timeline is also included. It's been a great resource for my current Digital Media project (stay tuned for me details).

I have also the book, and its great. Realy good for information about LEGO, if you want to make an assey or something. And the history of LEGO is interresting. (Great idea to produce plastic bricks). One negative thing is that there is only one small picture of a castle that the Official LEGO master builders have made.
There are also pages for ideas for building animals and humans.

Got it. It's a cool book, although it has a coating of dust on it right now (for protective purposes). :D
