You know you're a good person when you see megablocks and have to do things you would rather not.

Do you mean an old topic? If so, here:Luís wrote:Redirect me if there is one already.

If not, then I will try to help. First of all, you will need to learn how to write a page, preferably in html or xhtml. Both of those you can learn about at W3Schools. That is a great site, I have learned about html, css, java, etc. there. Once you have learned that, you need to find a company that will host your website for you. A couple of free ones are geocities and freewebs. Both of those are used by many LEGO fans. There are also many not that expensive ones, some of which you can get your own domain name with. One LEGO fan's domain named site is Tamyra Teed's My Castles.com, and she probably uses a cheap service to host it. Hope I could help.

Learning French.
Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".
I'm a Pumpkin.

I took this to mean you're looking for a host without ads... if so, host my story site on 50webs.com... they don't puts ads on, and there is a lot of space.

If you're talking about tutorials and what-not, I'd suggest webmonkey

Otherwise, the suggestions above are quite good too ~

As far as the actual writing of the site, in addition to looking at various html tutorials, I suggest looking at sites you like and in your browser go to "view source" and look at how they did the different things. Start with a pretty simple site (e.g. my site is extremely simplistic with text, pics, and links), and then later try to figure out more complex features.

A good point by Bruce... I'll add that not only did I learn some of the more complex areas of HTML this way, but "view->source" is still something I use to pick up new and cool features I see with coding like Javascript.

Yeah, I forgot to mention 'View Source'. It is very fun to see what work went into making a site. I can't imagine how much patience you would have to have to make something like Classic-Castle.

P.S.[pointless rant]If you are on a Mac, like me, you can control-click, and it will show a menu (I believe it is like right-click on a PC) if you are at the right place, and you can click 'View Source' without going to a top menu. Or you can go to the 'View' menu, and select 'View Source'.[/pointless rant]

P.S. I sent you a PM about your sig, I don't know if you got it (don't worry, it's nothing bad, just about fixing your B-Shelf link).
