Thanks Chris - the entire MOC, figures included, are attached to the baseplate using some method. There is a fairly strong stud connection between the castle and the blue.
Thanks for all the kind words; I'm sorry I don't have time to reply in more detail. As I mentioned, I will fully photograph it (after I get the light system working again

) and will post it in various places. I'll definitely write about it in detail more. By the way, the official name is Stoneguard Castle.
