Jeez! That is a pretty castle. The snot water looks good, and I liek the cliffs. I hope the builder reveils himself! (Or herself).

Well built. Wish I could have gone to NWBC.

Well, since he hasn't posted it yet, I'll spill the beans. John Langrish built that and he took the "Best Castle" award too. Dang him and his SNOT! :)

I have no idea who built it, but it's great. The round towers are well built, but smaller than using 1x3s, I may have to try that once my bricklink orders arrive. The round tudor section is also cool, and the little vig in the back is hilarious/messed-up.

I like how the creator got the rounded areas in the wall by using the same technique instead of using just hinges!

I really like the techique for the rounded tower walls, very nice. I also like how John laid the castle atop bricks instead of abusing thousands of blue tiles.

The fig being chased by the shark is absolutely hilarious. Clever way to make the blood trail.

That's a fantastic castle. I'd love to see more pics.

Wow, this is outstanding. I really like the curved walls, and the keep is great. The cliffs and farmland are also grrrrrr-eat! (mmm, frosted flakes. ;))

When I saw this on Lugnet I was very impressed! It looks brilliant and projects itself as being of a much bigger scale because of all the great detail. The angled tudor is particularly impressive...

Thanks Bruce; I will definitely be photographing it in detail in the coming week or two. Of course, all the excitement over it being new is gone. :D

Thanks Chris - the entire MOC, figures included, are attached to the baseplate using some method. There is a fairly strong stud connection between the castle and the blue.


Thanks for all the kind words; I'm sorry I don't have time to reply in more detail. As I mentioned, I will fully photograph it (after I get the light system working again :P ) and will post it in various places. I'll definitely write about it in detail more. By the way, the official name is Stoneguard Castle.
