Skaerbaek 2006

Hey all,

A couple of weeks ago there was a LEGO gathering in Skaerbaek Denmark. Lots of great MOCs, though not a ton of castle-y stuff that I see. Did any CCers attend? Here are some galleries:

That Viking Ship is bizarrely huge! It's awesome. Also, this aircraft carrier is incredible.

I saw these galleries last night when we couldn't post.

That viking longship is really strange, a cross between viking history and modern Japaneese. A unique idea. That mosque is huge and very ornate!

There is alot to see here. Thanks for posting these!

Wow. That aircraft carrier is ridiculous! And that longship is awesome too. Man I wish I had that many grey bricks. Or that many viking figures. Preferably both. Lots of really outstanding displays. I don't know what else to say.

The Viking ship is very impressive in scale and build, but odd in design. A Japanese flag, and a train that runs inside? The scale is not correct for figs, and maybe that's why it seems weird to me.

Some really cool stuff. I like the white roofed convention hall. The aircraft carrier I saw somewhere before--it's huge! It must weigh 300 pounds at the very least! There is a vig seen through a pull out section of a white building that smacks of Jojo to me. Thanks for sharing this Bruce.

I like the stuff here, especially that longship. For everyone who's asking, it's Malle Hawking's (Weebleezer's) aircraft carrier, which can be found here:

It's been featured here and on The Brothers Brick before.
