LEGO World 2006

Post by Bruce N H »

Hi all,

The 2006 edition of LEGO World, the largest LEGO event in the world, is currently underway in the Netherlands. Pictures are starting to appear. Link galleries, especially those featuring castle MOCs, in this thread.

Unfortunately I don't see a whole lot of castle stuff. It seems to be much more town-themed.

Wow, there are some impressive creations. Nothing really more to say then... Wish I could go!

This certain event seems to have LOTS of sculptures... Or maybe that is just the person taking pictures?

Thanks for pointing it out,
George

I like the trees with the clone troops and Yoda in them, huge. I wish this could happen on our side of the pond as well. They could have a LegoworldEurope, and a LegoworldNorthAmerica. Just dream I'm sure. I didn't know this was on now, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I do wish there wa more castle. I wonder why not? Are they less exotic to Europeans owning to the fact that the real deal is only a car ride away? Hmm.

Wow, these are amazing creations. I wish I was there, but the Netherlands a bit too far for me. At least digital cameras and the internet.

P.S. Bruce, the "chmar" link is messed up.
