Nice!
This opens up for possibilities of attaching smaller plates, and tiles to give it a random "stone" effect.

I must admit, this is very interesting. I personally do not like the look of the studs on the side like that, but it looks like a great piece and money saver.
Good idea!

Hmm... just got another idea, It would be very easy to stack these walls on top of each other using techinc pins, that would create a very high "trojan wall" effect, and you could also build a very large tower using these same methods, and then add plants and leaves or whatever you want on it... Only one gripe, you can't have in wall traps with these (arrow slots, boiling oil holes, etc.) Yet another Idea! you can build out wards from these wall creating towers jutting out, then use sot work and have the studs on top, allowing your lego men to walk on it. Sigh... wish i had enough money to buy a lot of these things...
Time to go nighty night mister west.

Specifically, the Catalogfeature is very helpful for tracking down pieces, and their availability (colours, quantities, prices).
For my basic wall idea, you need:
Brick, Modified 12 x 12 with 3 Pin Holes on each Side and Axle Holes in Corners
Plate, Modified 2 x 2 with Pin
Tile, Modified 2 x 2 with Pin
Tile 1 x 4
You can see the quantities of each when looking at my instruction pictures.
Thanks for the compliment. I'm glad you like it. And welcome to C-C.com!
Those are the types of ideas that have been floating through my head, too. While I've shown only the basics, it's wide open for ideas like yours.garraofthesand wrote:Hmm... just got another idea, It would be very easy to stack these walls on top of each other using techinc pins, that would create a very high "trojan wall" effect, and you could also build a very large tower using these same methods, and then add plants and leaves or whatever you want on it... Here's what's available. Maybe one of these shops is within your budget. Mine cost 24 cents each from Troy's shop, but it was I and one other buyer who cleared out his stock.

If I've understood your question correctly, then the answer is "yes".raiko wrote:hey thanks a lot footsteps! ive got a final question though... what did u use before puting the top piece?? i mean what's under the 8x12 slate on top? im guessing 4 pcs of 2x4?
If you follow the BL links in my previous posting, you'll see that only light/dark bley are available. This piece only came out (I believe) with the newest Batman sets -- well into the Age of Bley, which is well after the Fourth Age.kelderic wrote:Do you know if they have the piece in old light grey, instead of bley?
