POV-Ray

Post by Jedipawn »

I know there are quite a few of you out there that are very good with drafting. I have been using MLCad for quite a while now, but can not for my life get POV-ray to work. I know little about graphics code so when it returns an error every time, I'm lost. Will someone out there please help me figure out how to make renderings of my designs? Thanks to all

Using the POV-ray to render models is very hard to get set up. If you get an error, uninstall everything and start again, that's what I did. Then follow the intructions again and see if it works that time. If you make a mistake it is almost impossible to find what you did wrong and go back to fix it. You could forget about POV-ray and download some viewer of the LDraw site. It won't give you any special features, but it works well and gives nice renderings! Hope this helps.

Hi could you suggest some other user-friendly renderers? I'm kind of lost
