I was reading a review, and it says that the movie is a gore-fest. For example, if you ever want to know what a guy getting his face ripped off by a panther looks like, then this movie is for you. That kind of thing. I don't plan on seeing it.

Here's a review that divides the movie up, so that you can see how much violence and whatnot is in the movie.

To be honest, it looks WAY too bloody for me to possibly enjoy.

Unfortunately my local theater doesn't have this movie playing, so I can't see it yet.
I was reading a review, and it says that the movie is a gore-fest.
I heard there's a good sacrifice scene with a guy getting his heart cut out on top of a pyramid or something like that.
I don't mind gore or violence, as long as it adds to the value of the movie and isn't just for the sake of showing violence.

I hope to see this movie soon.

I watched this movie this weekend, and I must say, it's not bad. I kept hearing it's a gore fest or Mel Gibson's excuse to make a snuff film. But I didn't really think it was all too gory. The sacrificial scenes was a little graphic, but I would say it's along the same lines of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The Jaguar ripping the guy's face off was the only scene where the entire theater gasped. But other than I must say it was a very well made movie. B+ overall
