Space Containers

I've had this around for a little bit, so I think I'll post it.

Not much, just two containers and a space keg.

Agreed... I'd love to see some pics of the containers in process. The final result is very smooth and futuristic, with no studs at all - very nice, simple design.(And the space keg is quite funny

)

One thing about this guy- he doesn't like giving out instructions to his creations.

The keg looks to be a 2x2 round plate on each end and 4 1x2 tiles sandwiched inbetween them.

The other is harder to say.... I'd say something is inside there holding those 4 plates together, and the pressure of the 2 end caps keeps the rods in place.

I would say that he had put 4 of these on top of one another, and then attached the outside pieces to them. The would have to be one more, though, switching the studs. Whatever he did, they look very good.

Nope, you only need two of those! Point them in opposite directions and the 4 x 1 tiles will hold them together. The 2 x 2 tiles are centered on the two end studs, and the rods are held in by pure friction (I didn't believe it until I built one myself!).

You're right that wouldn't work. It would be very durable, though.

I'll give you all a little hint. Here are the parts needed to make one of each

Containers: 4 lightsaber blades, 4 1x4 tiles, 2 2x2 tiles, 2 snot bricks
Keg: 4 1x2 tiles, 2 2x2 round plates, 2 2x2 round tiles

I am also currently working on a larger version, due to all the positive feedback
