I grabbed 3 copies of VDF on Black Friday, from Target. I've only opened one so far, but it did have the extra bag.

On one hand, I'm happy to get the extra parts, but ont he other hand, I wonder what's happening to Lego's famous quality control.

I have seen this set at Target for 50% off as well......just curious if it is worth that price. I looked at the part breakdown....seems like some good stuff in there....but 50 bucks worth? Seems hard to justify with so many other good sets on the way. What do you guys think that have been picking them up?

I thought so, but then I paid full price for it last year. Its a good set.

I bought two of these for 75% off. They are definately worth it. I personally don't like the speckled armor, but the pieces are worth it. Look on bricklink for the inv, and you will be amazed. Excellent set, but I wouldn't buy it for $100 (USD), when if you wait at target it can go down to $25 (Also USD).

When I got VDF on black Friday, it had the same deal! I posted about it on the black friday thread where ever that went, but I don't think anyone paid attention.

I didn't get two of the red armor, and I had an exta dark green and dark red helmet.

It's a Christmas Miracle!

You people are lucky. All I got was a misprinted purple armour. But at least TLC was nice enough to send me a new one.

On black friday it was fifty percent off!!! 50 dollars

sadly it is a new year, and also I am highly suprised that they made a mistake they wiegh them!

This set is worth full price.

Nearly 1000 pieces. Very little Bley. Very good design. Very fun build. 4/8 Quality minifigs. Even the bionicle swords are very cool and are used in the correct context. I'd be phearing this castle if I was a good guy minifig.

An interesting fact - Morcia comes with flags and colouring for both Vladek's crew and Mathias' crew. VDF only comes with flags and colouring for V's men. There's a reason for that, and it ain't because TLC were being lazy! This is nigh on impregnable.

Another interesting fact. Mathias' siege engines weren't tall enough to properly siege this castle. Moron.

I got extra peices in my set as well. The same bag. Neat.
