Hey all,
I don't actually read this forum as often, so I hadn't read this thread until now. all I can say is Wow!. I've spent the last 30 minutes reading through this thread and looking at pics and it all looks really great. Flickr user Nezumiiro has posted
pictures of all the sets, perhaps from that Scandinavian site.

First off, I have no inside information about whether these are real or not, but they seem real to me. This series looks to me like LEGO's version of the Return of the King, much like the Adventurers line was their version of Indiana Jones without having to pay royalties. You've got the two opposing castles (Minas Tirith and Minas Morgul), big battle (of the Pelannor Fields), evil knight on dragon (Witch King on Fell Beast). I think this is brilliant. Of course I'm excited about all the same things as everyone else - undead horses (we've been waiting so long for that prototype design to become a product), the heraldry (I love the variations on the four-quartered shield with crown, especially the black and white one), the morning star (hmm, did they see Jeff's stuff and copy it?), the captured princess (we need more medieval women). Probably the set I'm most excited to get is the prison wagon, as that will be an economical way to get several undead horses, three of the redesigned skellies, two knights and several weapons and shields. Unfortunately it looks like there aren't a lot of the morning stars - one in the biggest set and one in the catapult set as far as I see, but hopefully we'll get more of these in future sets as well (once they make a mold, I'm sure they'll use it again). Anyway, looks like it will be a great year. I can't wait for ToyFair.
