You can use a non-LEGO weapon in the custom figure category.

Now that the end of the contest has come, I think that it is only fitting to have a big round of applause for the admins. They tirelessly answered all of our questions accurately and without complaint, even if some were repeated twice or three times. I don't envy their task of judging all of these great creations, but I'm sure that they will come through. Thanks for another great contest!

Aside from prizes, I can see that it takes a year to fully recover from a CCC! And heck, their work isn't even done yet!
Good luck to the entrants, and good luck to the admins too!

Indeedy, the same here. I only entered one category but i know already that what little participation i have put in, i've got a whole lot more out of it, such as inspiration, ideas and fun.

It's definately ensured i'll be busy with Lego at the weekend a lot more often from now on. :)

So big thanks to everyone involved! :D

Yup, I'd just like to add my voice to the choir! Thanks to all the admins for putting this on every year (wow, 4 years already...).

Good work everyone, I love alot of the entries.

This being my first year actually participating and being overwhelmed by McGloghlan and then going home for the holidays I only was able to enter the one castle, and in a hard category too... So, I don't really mind how well I do, I've just had a great time building for and following the contest.

So thanks again to everyone, great job all around!!!

Thanks to every one who was involved in CCC IV, admins on one side, and participants on other, it is great to see so much nice work.
The CCC IV has done its purpose well; I can see it on our forum where it has awakened few new castle builders.
Once again, THANK YOU
