D66-TC Petrel Dropship

Post by lego2000 »

Image

Not an official Haloverse veicle, but here it is.

The D66-TC Petrel is the smaller brother of the D77-TC Pelican, and can carry 2 pilots, 4 Marines, and one rear gunner Marine (if optional rear machine gun is up)

Armaments: M247 GPMG machine gun turret (optional) x1, 70mm chin mounted chain gun x1

Very nice! The monochromatic look works for this rather than against it, unlike most vehicles.

This is awesome. It looks very realistic. Do you have a link to the Brickshelf folder?

This is a really nice dropship. The shape flows quite well, and I loved construction. I'm also glad you found a use for that canopy, which I like but don't know how to use.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

I love it! This is the best dropship I have ever seen. Do you have pics of the larger one? A link to the brickshelf would be nice as well.

My apologies, I was under the impression you had built a larger version. You should definetly try your hand at one though. I do have a question though. How did you attach the front pilot area to the back?

That is a nice looking drop-ship. I am very fond the hard working drop ships of your sci-fi area. And I am also very fond of a good piece of SNOT work - which this most definitely is.

I am going to Rate this, and I am going to give it a 9.5/10.

Very nice indeed.

It kinda reminds me of a ship from StarShip Troopers...

Nice looking MOC, btw.

I think this is supposed to be from the Halo (video game) universe. The D77-TC Pelican he mentioned is the dropship from the actual game. This is not the smaller version of a larger MOC he built, it is a MOC modeled loosely from the Halo dropship.

I hope that clears things up. :)

Very nice! That looks really great. It was instantly recognizable as something from Halo. It looks good in all grey, too. You should definately post this over at CSF. I can't wait to see more photos.
