Fraun was now being very careful. He couldn't afford another run-in with a dragon. The dragon masters would soon find the dead body of the dragon and would be looking for any strangers. This was a dangerous mission, he had to find out the reason for the Dragon masters attacks on the Crusaders. Although he was not very fond of the crusaders he felt there was a bigger picture to the attacks, and he planned on finding that "bigger picture"

SHAINYA was in agony. She could barely keep her head above the murky water to keep herself from drowning,; she was so tired. Hunger wracked her body and everytime she move pain shot through her. She dozed.

Shainya heard a sound. Sitted up, she tried to identified the noise. She could not be sure, but it sounded like the mournful tune of a stringed instrument. Excited, she pounded the side of the well with her fists and screamed at the top of her voice. The music stopped and she could hear footsteps coming near. The effort of making herself known was too much for her and she slipped into blackness.

Bacon....I haven't had bacon in years...

SHAINYA rolled over and open her eyes. A fire crackled infront of her, bacon was sizzling in a pan, the smell enticing. Shainya reached out for the food but stopped, groaning, when pain lanced through her battered body. A hand gently forced her back down and a voice murmered "Easy there, don't strain yourself...you're lucky to be alive..."

Shainya looked up into ice-blue eyes. "Who...are you?" she croaked.

"My name is Dale." was the reply.

Location: Grolling Fortress on the border of Ninja and Dragon Masters Grid: G-11

Fraun was now nearing the gates of the Dragon Master fortress of Grolling. He spotted two guards at the gates and pondered on how he would dispose of them, with his sword or with his bow? He decided the bow would cause less commotion. Before the guards touched the ground they were not breathing
. Fraun silently sneaked past the gate and into the courtyard. He then entered into the innards of the fortress not knowing what was ahead. He had been walking up steps for about twenty minutes now without meeting any obstacles. He was just about to give up and turn back when he came to a door. Voices were coming from behind it he pushed it open a hoping it wouldn’t creak what he saw were two Dragon Master guards standing at full attention. He now could hear the voices clearly a gruff voice was saying, “Breck and his forces are moving in on the fortress sir.” Another smoother voice said “Good, we shall be ready to intercept them. Ready your troops.” Gruff replied with a “Yes sir.” “Interesting. Good old Breck is planning on attacking the Dragon Masters and they know he is going to. This should get good.” He smiled to himself. “But I should like to find out who smooth and gruff are.” He turned to leave and came face to face with four armed guards. The led him to gruff and two other men. “State your name and business.” Fraun didn’t answer. “Fine. Have it your way.” He told Fraun. “But you won’t be leaving until you talk. Off to the dungeon with him.” Gruff ordered the guards. Fraun was led deep into the heart of the fortress were they put him in a deep stinking pit with a latch door, and a grate to let some light in at the top. Then the guards threw him into it. After his eyes got used to the semi-darkness he found that he was not the only one in there. “Hello.” Said the other prisoner. “How did you get stuck here?” “Got caught spying, you.” “Got caught trespassing.” Answered the prisoner. “Been here eight years.” As he said this he moved into the light. And Fraun saw the Bull Knight symbol on the prisoner’s chest.

Grid: L-5 Location: King Kath's Throne

IN the throne room of Hemlock, pandemonium ruled as Wolfpack and mercenary armies poured in from the river. The delta was lined with enemies... Inside, Radjar tried to quell the men about him. Commanders of Ninja, Dragon Master, and Slayer bands lined the hall.
"Good men! It is time we take arms for the sake of brotherhood!" he yelled, piercing the chaos.
"AYE!" resounded the men.
"The enemy is numbered 10,500 strong," Rad added. "and the King of Three Daggers is coming, charging me with the near-destruction of his lands. I have done what I have done in the memory of my fallen comrades. Let me never do such things again."
The group nodded.
"Sir, we will have little time," informed Lord Gerthmerg, the Dragon Master general. "Soon they will strike at us where it hurts the most. I should take my riders and attack first."
"I will consider it, Gerthmerg."
"No, sir, you will not. It is doomed to fail." Vos stepped forward decked out in regalia.
"Hold your tongue, General Vos!" Radjar snapped.
"Sir, we do not know the forces engaged..."
"Know your enemy, and you have won half the battle." supported Ninja Daimyo Mitsanume.
"No, both of you. We will strike first. Gethmerg, take your riders and ambush these meddlers. They will not dare siege the forces of the Light."

“Mind telling your story.” Asked Fraun. ‘No, there is nothing else to do.” Replied the prisoner. “Let’s stat with names. Mine’s Dordrot.” “ And mine is Fraun.” Replied Fraun. “Now that we have made introductions start talking.” “Well… it all began when the Falcons started attacking our villages. The King told me to ride with full haste to the Black Knight King and ask for 1,000 fully armed knights. They agreed to only 500 men. I was riding toward the castle ahead of the knights when I met a Falcon platoon. They shot at me and I fled to the top of a nearby hill were I looked upon the destruction the Falcons had wrought upon our land. Then I came to the Dragon Masters thinking the might help. But alas, they took me prisoner not wanting conflict with the Falcons.” “Wow.” Said Fraun. “I new the Falcons were cunning but not cruel and cooled hearted.” “Now you do know. Will you join our cause?” “Ummm…what “cause might this be?” “Why, to get out of here and restore the Bulls Kingdom.” “First let’s get out of here, then I’ll think about restoring the Bull Kingdom. Any Ideas on getting out?”

The Tower Barbod thought, farther.....east! He contenued his prosuit of Breck.
He jabed his spear into the ground.
"Reno, Drakko, Bjarn, where are you my freinds? I need you..." He said quietly to himself.
He heard a brustle in the bushes. Turning he grabed his spear and through it, with all the might he possesed. He would not get blindsided again. He ran to the bushes to examin his kill. A strange man, carring many stolen items he was to trade. Among them were an eyepatch, a forester sheild, and a blue saddle. Everything was reminding him of his freinds. The time on the shadow. The burning shack. The punch delt to Drakko. Bjarn's arrow. Memories were flashing through Barbod's head. No. He wouldn't go to breck. Breck could come to him. He needed to find his freinds. He must re-unite the misfits.

“Actually I don’t.” said Dordrot. “I thou…….” “You two shut up down there.” Shouted a guard. “I thought you might have an idea.” Finished Dordrot. “No I don’t.” “Well then we can only hope for some luck. If we could only be transported then we could have a chance to escape.” “Alright. You two are going to be executed.” Shouted a guard. “Or executed.” Said Dordrot. The prisoners were taken to the Gruff voiced man and asked for their names and business. Neither said a word. “Fine. Execute them. No, let them battle our dragon with nothing but their hands.” Smiled gruff (by the way gruff voice’s name is Krindwain). It will be a nice show for Grundark. The prisoners were led out through many corridors and into an arena, were they saw a great dragon about 12 feet tall and 20 in length. Well it was nice knowing you for two hours. Said Fraun. Hey. Your not giving up are you? Replied Dordrot venomously. You said that you would get out of the dungeon. Well you did and it’s time to kick some dragon behind! With what? Well, with these he said punching the two guards that were leading them and taking their spears. Okay. Now we can kick dragon behind. Said Fraun. Just then the Dragon rushed at them and shot fire at them. Fraun managed to dodge the fire but Dordrot wasn’t so lucky. His leg was burnt pretty bad. Then Fraun seeing his friend go down in pain rushed at the dragon and plunged the spear deep into the dragon’s foot. The dragon roared with pain, kicking Fraun to the other side of the arena. Then he blacked out.

The assassin stood in the shadows, watching his intended victim.
'I've put this off far too long' he thought to himself. 'He is a threat to my mission. I cannot fail. I WILL not fail.'
He watched the man walk to his bed and lay down. He listened untill the mans rythmic breathing signaled sleep.
'Now's my chance. No more doubts. Breck dies tonight!'
Faolan crept slowly through the shadows, not making a noise. He stopped a few feet away from Breck.
'Fool. Thought I had left a week ago, did you?' the assassin thought. 'Little did you know I was here. Hiding, watching your every move. There is not a guard anywhere in this hallway, Breck.'
The assassin drew his sword.
"Goodbye, Breck. I doubt anyone will miss you."
With one swift movement of his sword, the deed was done.
"Now back to the task at hand. I must kill the Bull, and get my reward." The assassin muttered.
On his way out the window, He gave the corpse one last look.
"May we never meet again, Breck." With that, he dissappeared ointo the shadows, back to the mainland to finish the Bull.

Loc: Adamopolis' Tower

IT was done. Breck was dead. Adam had found his decapitated corpse in a pool of blood. The assasin ahd doen his job. No longer would he torment the people of Ninjara or any other land; it was all over. Adam smiled with glee. No more lordship, he thought. But now he had to find a new hideout.
"Buildit... that fool has his ship and crew docked somewhere, I know it..."
Adam paused and acknowledged that he would never have to slip out in secrecy again. For he was the Blackguard... The Evil One.

LORD Gethmerg mounted his fiercesome war-dragon, as his red-clad men, sheathed in black armor, notched their bows and polished their weapons. Gereld stepped over to him.
"You may be right, perhaps you will prevail. But I am not sure."
"The King may be young," replied Gerthmerg, "But he knows the Light. And though many Masters scorn it, I believe it as well."
Gereld nodded at the soldier's wise words. Gerthmerg saluted him.
"May the Light guide you," he said.
With that, the riders lept into the air and the dragons whizzed off. Moments passed. The delta cam einto view, and the tents of the armies stood undefended.
"Now my comrades! Strike swiftly!"
The Dragons swooped down, spitting forth flames and fire and razing the tents. Arrows buzzed past Gerthmerg's head, and several of his men toppled to the ground, dead.
"Dismount!" he ordered.
The Dragon Masters, weapons in hands, jumped onto the dirt and clashed with the Wolfpack soldiers. Gerthmerg impaled a cavalryman, then threw his lance to the ground, leaping off his steed and drawing his battleaxe, and engaging in battle. Blood splashed him as he cleaved through a soldier and gutted another, blocking mace blows and rallying his men. His own soldiers were falling everywhere. It looked hopeless.
"Retreat! Back to your dragons! We ahve done enough!"
Judas rode out of his ranks and cut down the Dragon Master stragglers with his saber. Gerthmerg's remaining men grabbe dtheir dragons and started to take off. a salvo of arrows downed a few.
"For the Li..."
Gerthmerg was cut off, and an arrow thudded into his back and through his armor. The great warrior toppled from his steed and landed, with a THUD! onto the brown dirt. The soldiers returned knowing they had failed.

I-12

Ridding hard and fast the three did not talk much, except for when they stopped to rest the horses and eat. Even then they tried to keep moving, a few hours of sleep was really all they could take before the thoughts of a destroyed homeland woke them and sent them on their way. Graygon seemed the most disturbed by the whole idea of his home being torn apart, Bjarn tried to comfort him, but it seemed of little help. Willem was very collected through the journey, Bjarn figured that he would have shown a bit more concern. There was little that slowed them, all three were very surprised that nothing was getting in their way. Evil could be sensed in the air, and time was fading quickly. Willem began to think about how much the help of the rest on the misfits would be needed in this.
If it doesn't fit FORCE IT! If it breaks then it needed to be replaced anyways.

Grid: M-7 Loc: Fort Mosswood

VALUS opened the creaking wooden door to his cozy, warm quarters. It was arelief to take a rest from the war, even if he was on the Wolfpack border. The rain trickled down his window outside, thunder struck. Gerthmerg's assault had failed, and the man himself was dead. All of this happening so fast.
Not that he cared. Valus delighted in warfare. It was the only thing he found that he could excel at. His skills in battle were enormous, only bested by his own superior skills as a rogue. He came here intending to steal everything from the Dark Forest; He ended up fighting for it. Since his stationing in the remote Fell Isle to his service here in the mainland, he'd realized that Radjar was fighting for his honor and his life. With that, Valus slunk back into his chair, took a deep swig of brandy, and fell asleep.

BJARN was tired. I've never traveled like this before... he thought I don't think I can take many more days like this. Bjarn smiled wryly. I must be getting old

Bjarn looked over at Graygon, who was snoozing in the saddle, a look of remorse on his craggy face. He is not fairing well...Willem is pushing him to hard...

A shout from Willem interrupted Bjarn's thoughts. Looking up, Bjarn slowed his horse to a stop and reached over and shook Graygon awake.

Ahead of them was the mightly Yellow Castle, it's walls and turrets glinting in the sunlight. Built out of a rare stone found only on the Black Falcon Isles, the Yellow castle stood solid and impressive.

Graygon was awed. "This truly is the capital of this land." he said.

Before either Bjarn or Willem could answer, several strange-looking knights appeared on the road. They rode upon pecular steeds, their armor was square and blocky, and the imblems on their triangular sheilds were peeling off, as if they had been stuff on.

One of these Knights approached the trio and raised his hand in greeting.

"Welcome strangers! What brings you to this land?"

Dordrot lunged at the dragon’s throat, feeling pain in his left leg. The dragon dodged the spear and swung his tail at Dordrot. Dordrot ducked but the tail grazed his forehead. He lost his balance but quickly regained it. It felt like 1000 pins were ing his leg. Again he ran at the dragon. But this time instead of going for the throat flung the spear into the dragon’s chest. This caught the dragon off guard. It stumbled. But kept on it’s feet. “Great.” Thought Dordrot. “That just made it’s attitude worse.” The dragon was getting ready to put forth a burst of flame when it fell . And there was Fraun, his spear sticking in the dragon’s back. “Nice one.” Said Dordrot.
“Thank you.” Replied Fraun. “I pride my self in dragon slaying. That’s two in one week.” Suddenly arrows were whizzing past their heads.
“Let’s leave this party.” Said Fraun.
“Fine with me. It was getting a little to crowded for my liking anyways.” The two zigzagged their way to the gate which the quickly knocked down. Then they ran and were confronted by a battalion of Dragon Masters they battled and the two came out victorious. They both grabbed some weapons. Fraun a bow and arrows and Dordrot an axe. They kept running more Dragon Masters until they came to the fortress’s gate. They climbed their way to the battlement and battled more guards. Then they jumped down to the ground and ran into the forest.
