Hey, just out of curiosity. Have there been any events in the NY,NJ area? Are there even any fans here?

I would assume there would be, because it is a large, populated area. But, alas, I do not know.

GardenSLUG The Garden State LEGO Users Group (New Jersey)
NYCLUG New York City LEGO Users Group
LUCNYLEGO Users of Central New York

Go to Rene's LUGmap to find LEGO groups around the world. Also check the Lugnet org and local sections to find LEGO fans by geographic location.

Wow!! 3 Lego clubs/groups in this city. I am impressed.

Thanks alot Bruce! I've always wanted to go to a display, if not contribute but I have no time/way to go halfway across the country. I'll be looking into these. Do any of these events ever have planning topics here?

Those aren't events, Ziggy, they are LUGs (Lego User Groups). That is they are clubs. I'm sure they could let you know if there are any events planned for your area.
