Minotaur-ish Giant Demon

Post by kingkastle »

Hey all, havent posted any MOC's in a great big long time so I wipped this together this afternoon. Sort of came out as a giant minotaur-ish demaon creature of some sorts. Pivots at the elbow, shoulder, knee, waist, neck and wrist. More practice than anything else. Anywho feel free to leave comments and criticisms. As for myself I'm not so sure about the legs could probably use some work but doing so would likely through the balance of the rest of the body off so I'm leaving it as is for now.

I like it. My only critique is that maybe there could have been some more detail in the face to give it a more fierce appearance. Thats just a small thing though, it looks great.

WOW  ! This thing is amazing! It definately reminds me of a demon and I like the articulation. This is probably my favorite picture: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2319276 This really is a good MOC!

Maaan, I sure wouldn't mess with him! My only suggestion is to try and find a way so the legs are parted. Stuff like demons look MUCH more threatening when their legs are more off to the sides instead of completely upright, if you know what I'm getting at.

Nice work! Nice articulation, & although not a complex build it's got big-bad-demon-monster written all over it! I have actually been working on something very similar over the past couple of weeks. It's been slow going ;)

cool, I have tried doing that but have not gotten it to look right. I liked the way you did the top of it's head and the back spikes.

That is one big & mean looking minotaur!! That guy would absolute scare the living daylights out of my entire Lego army. – Job well done.

hey thanks everyone nice to see feedback. There wasn't much planning in his construcion he was actually supposed to be a zombie dragon (final fantasy12 inspired). I may one day revamp this guy much like I did my griffon which turned out quite well. (which has also now been dismantled)

With a little tweaking, this would make a good Ent. Some leaf parts, replace the claws. Hmmm, I may have to borrow this.

It seems to have good articulation, nicely done.

This is pretty good! I agree with The Blue Knight; with a change in color scheme, it would make a great Ent.

Heh, that would be a good addition to a medieval fantasy story. I like it!
