Yes, I know, Brothers-Brick.com is down

Postby Dunechaser » Sat Feb 17, 2007 7:18 pm

We got linked from at least two major video game blogs, and that seems to have exceeded the free bandwidth my friend with the Web business has allocated to Brothers-Brick.com. We're currently down, but I'm hoping we'll be back up soon.

I'm off to mope.

Hope it gets back up soon! At least you have a good source to say what is going on. When the CC went down, I couldn't find a source of information anywhere, and finally I found a small blurb on Lugnet, but MAN it was hard to get to :o

And we're back. :)

(Stinks that we were down for a few hours, though...)

And now we're down because we've exceeded our 10 gigabyte/month bandwidth limit. (This despite all the images being hosted externally. Wow.)

I'll be upgrading to the 25 GB/mo. plan shortly, so we should be back up soon.

Wow - that is a lot of traffic. Is it because the video games you are linked to are somehow using the same bandwidth and pushing you over the limit or because people are going from the video game sites to visit your site and the increase in visitors to your blog is causing the trouble?

If it's the second one, that is a very nice problem indeed!

It's the second one -- a good problem to have. :D But we're back now. Yay!

Wonderful bit of news for both parts of your response! Looks like things are looking up and up! Congrats!
