Hey, folks. I managed to find a picture showing the knight with the pointed visor mistakenly placed next to the evil fortress. My apologies if this was already posted: LINK

I'm also very pleased with how the new Castle Theme has turned out. I will most definitely buy many copies of the smaller sets. I just wish that the TLC Designers could get the castle structures right on a more consistent basis. Still, this isn't too bad in comparison to the offerings of the lesser castles of our past...

After determining that I am probably going to be buying multiples of these sets, I am in a quandary about whether I should buy them at full price or wait until SAH, TRU, Walmart, or Target has a sale on them. What do you guys think? (obviously, i have a limited amount of funds available)

Waiting for sales is always helpful to your checkbook, but if you wait for them, then you risk not having a full sellections of the sets to choose from. Also, these is the fact while everyone else is enjoying them, you won't have them. Having them for the time between when they are first So, I would say don't wait.

IMO, the small sets will sell out faster (especially the joust. i would get at least 4 of them). so i would say wait for the sale for the bigger sets (castle, wizard's fortress)

I'm not going to wait to see what is left on sale this time next year, partly because I want the sets and partly because the "sale"-prizes are'nt that much better around here!
I'm back, and so is Castle!

I agree with Kel. I will get at least some of these sets. I couldn't get any Vikings for a couple of months, and it stunk not seeing what everyone else was on about in the forums. Funds (or lack thereof) are an issue for all of us, so choose wisely.

I definitely am going to need a source of income after seeing the pics of these new sets. I love the direction Lego is taking with the Castle line! :D

My only peeve about them is the lack of shields for all the foot soldiers :? .

I know that I going to be getting several of the jousting sets to use the crown knights as part of a household cavalry group for my new duke. I've already named the mounted skeletal knights, "dread knights" .

Several crossbow cart will also be bought to help bolster the ranks besides providing more "dread knights".

Just wondering but when the Lego sets come out, could someone make shield and torso sticker designs?

The shield stickers would especially help fix the problem of not enough shields for the foot soldiers (Yeah, I know there's always BrickLink, but I haven't started bricklinking... yet).

I'm going to wait to buy; I just bought 2 more Viking Fortresses for my Town, and I'm hesitant about the piece selection. I'm going to have to wait for the inv off Bricklink or Peeron.

Also, I'm waiting to see if the helmets and swords are Pearl Grey are not. Anybody know if they are or not?

Thanks for the great pics Bruce - although the somewhat boring name "Castle" seems to be official, the rest of the design/set looks really interesting and fun... begin saving $... NOW!

EDIT>> I must say, the marketing department did a wonderful job with the colorful packaging here~ 8) Also, those torso designs are VERY cool, with more than one very cool design to them that have the faction logo but still look quite realistic~

2nd EDIT>> Wow, the more I look at, the more I have to say...

-The Euroarmor looks very cool in both design and decals - for both sides.
-The Black wizard has a cool staff, although the decal on his hat may or may not be cool, depending on how it looks (close-up).
-The woman's torso and dress is Great!! Everything we could have hoped for.
-The "evil fortress" seems to have two red translucent pieces that will be handy from time to time with a little creativity, I can't help but feeling...
-I like the look of the gears for the drawbridge of the "evil fortress"

As one who's lived through the crusaders, fright knights, NOTHING castle at all for several years, and then KK2, I think I can proudly say LEGO Castle is slowly but surely coming back to us! :P

Colorful packaging yes. But is it just me, or are the colors on the boxes, or at least in these images of the boxes a bit indiscernable?

Ha ha, the sorcerer's staff has skate-board wheels on it! Clever.

Well, looks like this is the year I go broke..
I actually want every set in this line, which is good, because there weren't many in the other castle line I wanted.
I was just looking at those pics before coming on here. Awesome stuff. I just love the torso designs, and the designs on the euro armor look cool too.
And just look at that Princess! Is that a new hairpiece on her?

Now I really better get a job this Summer..
