Seed challenge distraction

Post by the_lorax »

This is not actually for the seed challenge (it does not meet any of the criteria, there is no snot, and no new use of trans parts), more a sign that I have been staring at my trans bricks for too long.

So here is my pure trans micro caslte moc:

Now... back to the seed challenge

 oh and I know it is not cool to respond to yourself, but this didn't warrant a new thread.

It was just something I made recently messing about (again).

This is a really simple mudular lego castle system. which all fits together and uses very few generic pieces.

these are the pieces

torches and flag attachments can also be made to fit into the slots.

I know they don't look awesome, but fun for non wanting to build kids, who like to play with minifigs (I have one of those).

Cheers

again

Both of these minis are great. The first one has a nice look due to the use of transparent pieces, while the second looks like a miniature version of Black Monarch's fortress.

Those look great! I really like the first one. Nice job of the dark clear windows for the castle.

Great, both look fantastic, and are less commonly thought of to build. Very nice work!

Thank you for the kind words.

I really appreciate the positive environment you have built here at classic castle, and how open you all are to new ideas and different building styles (and scales).

Cheers

Hiya, Anita - that's real pretty! If it had some dimension of SNOT it would undoubtably qualify for the seed challenge. It wouldn't be hard at all, ideas spring to mind just looking at it.

Very cool! The transparent castle is my favorite. Excellent job of thinking outside the box.

Really neat stuff! I like it, creative and well executed. Can we get bigger pics of the black one though?

Link for the black castle idea

Thanks everyone, I am thinking of trying more with trans as I just won a lot on ebay of crazy trans pieces.
