 That's just... bad!

I actually own this one (and only this one)... Hey! It was a gift!

The flail is cool, and so are the copper pieces. But, what a strange choice for the Weekly Set Review!!!

Yeah, I didn't really like this set. I didn't like any of these, actually. THey remind me too much of Bionicle. (Nothing wrong with it, I just don't think they should mix it with castle) Also, I think it is over priced.

2/10

I thought about getting this set and using the rusty bits on a junker spaceship. 'Twas a fleeting thought.

I am not the action figure-guy, but Karzon is a nice action figure. Nothing more, nothing less.

(But this concept, along with the Bionicle figures, was one of the things that kept me from even looking at Lego for years.)

Ah... we are into the mega-figs now ~ Like many others, I am not a fan of these figs - they don't seem to have a lot to do with LEGO.

However, while recently hanging around Brikwars I saw someone use these figs for giants - the idea seemed obvious, but I had never considered it.

In that light, Karzon is a perfect "giant" because he doesn't have silly heraldry, but just a somewhat-cool design. Also, his helmet and weapon are nice.

I'll end up buying 2 or 3 of these (even I can't believe it  ) for a "giant" element in my Castle story/brikwars.

I dislike the action figures sooo much! They are too much like Bionicle to be considered anything else. I haven't got any of these figures nor do I hope to get any in the future.

I really like the large Karzon, but I'm not sure that I'd like any of the second line of large KK2 figs if it weren't for that hideous first line. The aweful colors of the first large figure set make the second set of large figures look great in comparison.

I collect medieval weapons, so the thing that drew me to the newer big figs was their weapons, of which Karzon's is the coolest. The container being a metal can is nice too. I like Karzon's hammered-metal armor, but I always keep his visor down, because his face is just too cartoony compared to the rest of him. Another aspect of Karzon that I think puts him a notch above the other big figs is his dusty blue colors. That dusty/slate (called "sand" by some) blue goes well with his armor's colors.

I do wish that he was more posable. Of course, his joints move quite a bit, but not in a way that lets you set him on a flat surface without him falling over.

I tried that when Set 1 came out, but the colours looked two stupid, so I didn't try it again. Maybe I should rethink this now that these ones are more gianty. I find that the armour on the newest figs looks very giantish.

That's a good point - the difference between Karzon and the first Jayko is enormous. I'd say in terms of mega-figs, this new line, and specifically Karzon, fits in much better with the system scale.

The only useful things about those were the joints, and the pieces which could be used as ornaments on a wall or similar purposes. The minifigs are better.
