Purist Robe Idea

Post by Remyth »

Hello C-C! I was looking at a torso I recently aquired, and was wondering of some purist way to give him a partly-opened robe. Well, I figured it out.

Please give me feedback.

He looks very comely, however is it only his hads that hold his "robe" on? i understand why, but it limits this a bit, unfortunately. Don't get me wrong though, I love the look it gives. Its a very nice idea!

Looks very nice! Sure, playability isn't high but it looks great ;)

Yes, it does limit playability, but I couldn't get anything else to work. I will have to keep trying and thinking. I will update if I get a better idea.

That looks very nice. Although it is pretty fragile, this is one of the best robes for a fig that is stationary and used in vignettes.

That's really inventive! But as we've all said, it pretty much sucks except for a monk during some ceremony. It is just five plates right?

Would clips on levels 2 and 4 hook into the torso? I'm at work and cannot try it currently, but it might hold.

Hmm. An interesting idea. I will try it.

EDIT- No, it will not work. If you cut off the prongs it might, but them it wouldn't be purist, would it? :P

Pretty nice fig, but I don't like that head very much.

Learning French.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Which clips did you use? The horizontal or the vertical. I would think the vertical type might work, or even just one. It might also depend on the torsos type, since there are different insides to them.

Hmm, I'll have to experiment with different things too...

Hmm maybe call it a black robe with a large brown "scarf" hanging from his neck?

I dunno, Im not liking how its plates that composes his legs. Why not just stick a 2x2 slope piece on him?
