the origin of Danju

Post by Tanotrooper »

Hi all,

I've found out where Danju came from...

Image

It's a evil knight from the power rangers...

I hope this is the right forum.

No, this is speculation about what influenced a set design and does not belong in this forum. This topic belongs in either the Stories section.

Hmmm... Must be a little bit of copy-paste that took place when Lego sold the company to someone else. Thank heavens they bought it back!

I'd say that guy's armor is more of a metallic blue, myself. Not purple, I don't see where that would come from.

I doubt that Danju was made from a Power Ranger, but kids could like Power Rangers and that guy so there is a possibility...

Danju predates Wolzard (the Japanese version from Mahou Sentai Magiranger) by a year, and Koragg the Knight Wolf (from the American Power Rangers: Mystic Force) by two years.

So no, he wasn't Danju's influence at all. =P

(Sorry, I'm a big sentai geek.)

Trust the Sentai geek. KK2 borrows little to no influence from power Rangers/Super Sentai, period.

Actualy I agree. What are the chances that two purple wolf knight action-figure... things would happen within a couple years of eachother and not share some origon root. Must be pretty slim.
