Cinderella Story by Barbara Werth
Hi all,
We've actually seen pictures of this before, as she has displayed it at past fests (Legoworld? 1000Steineland?) or LUG meetings, but Barbara has finally posted good pictures of her Cinderella story.
As described in her Lugnet post, this was inspired by a Playmobile playset, with four sections depicting four different scenes from the classic fairy tale (the Brothers Grimm version, not the Disney cartoon - she gives the whole story in her Lugnet post).
The kitchen she must clean (birds help her separate the lentils from the ashes)
She prays at her mother's grave and finds the dress (no bippety-boppety-boo here)
(BTW, note the use of Clickits )

Wow, the figs are fantastic & interrior details spot on. Some of my favorite features are the flowers suspended above the door & the evil step-sisters. Sure beats the playmobile version. My only complaint is the mice (are they mice?) - but what are you going to do?

Excellent interior details, and the figs are great. The guy coming out of the castle looks like a sinister version of Bruce's sigfig.

Each part is amazing! I love the detail on the gravel and everything, the figures, internal, outdoors...
The ball scene is amazing.

The Ball
I really like your Cinderella MOC. I like the lady in the pink dress the most. (Torso Bodice with Female Neckline, Two Hearts), Can you tell me what set this came from? I found the torso listed in Bricklink but it does not tell me which set the torso came from.
Thank you so much
Sincerely,
Peter Barth

I also really like this moc. The four corner room design was clever by Playmobil. Your LEGO interpretation is highly detailed and well done.

I like it! It's way better than Playmobil's could ever be. Nice use of the white tire as a collar for the guard.

Hi,
I finally registered myself on this forum, so I can answer your postings.
Thanks a lot for the praise I read from everybody.
@DARKspawn ehm... mice? Actually I didn't build them. Where do you see them?
@plbarth I bought in the Lego Store this magnet set http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?G=4494729, three times actually, because I thought of building also an happy end.
@Bruce Well, Clikits... finally I am a girl
Regards,
Barbara
