I completely fogot to mention I also purchased a custom figure from Will the brickarms guy. He was the last sand-green paratrooper type and when he saw my tag saying Classic-castle, he added two extra guns as well as the two that came with the fig. I highly recomend purchasing his weapons at conventions, he's a great guy to talk with. Thanks tons Will!!!

In the above, left to right...

-Free poly bags from registration, including some parts I've never had and (I realized later) stuff in old grey and old brown!
-Some orient adventurer figs from the bin at the store and a bunch of brown crossbows, which I did not have
-Forget who was selling these but somebody had a bunch of complete old sets for prices better than their original retail, grabbed some space police 1 and blacktron 1 and wishing now that I had grabbed more
-can't have too many transparent baseplates :)
-old grey 1x1s (I don't have many)
-free keychain from registration
-elephant!

Not pictured: I was one of the last in line to get in the store so I missed pretty much all the S&D, but sometime later my gf spotted somebody changing their mind about a Vladek's Dark Fortress they had and nabbed it for me (and yes, I plan to keep her :) ). Also picked up a UCS Batmobile which I needed for something I've been working on for a while, not S&D but still worth it with the discount.

And lastly, a good 5 1/2 cups of pick-a-brick. Dark green plate, old grey, and glow-in-the-dark 1x1 rounds ftw!

Well, I bought quite a bunch of brickarms from Will, had to help him with the math. He was a lot younger than I pictured him. I bought a TON of stuff from the lego store, no actual sets just PAB. I got a ton of old dark greys, and some trees and grass. Can't go wrong with landscaping, something I have none of. Until now.

Brickfest is typically held once a year. This year (already passed) was in Portland, OR. It's usually an East-Coast affair, in and around Virginia.
