Thanks for showing us this Bruce! Some interesting techniques here; looks like he worked out the geometries of the 1 x 2 x 3 slopes and figured out the angle that it would take for the entire wall to be turned so those slopes are upright. Also, I've always thought those big roof slopes would make good cobblestone paths, but I couldn't figure out a way to use them because of the slopedness(if that's a word)(which I doubt).
Interestingly, the idea for this is pretty similar to the MOC I posted here a few days ago. This MOC is, of course, much more impressive and unique but great minds think alike, nevertheless!

This is great. I love the MOCs with lots of detail poured into them, and this one certainly has that. The architecture of the bridge is great, and I also really like the personalities taken on by the horse and the fig.

This person did a great job on this, lots of detail. That horse is packed to the limit in this picture: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2510244 . I love the little pumpkin part also (I may have to steal that since I'm going to order a large amount of plant on B-link). I don't ever remember this piece: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2510193 in any set but it looks good with it.
I was just thinking I should post this over here... Well met Bruce ; ) ApophisV certainly did a great job with this one...

Great find Bruce! This whole thing is fantastic. I love the attention to detail and all the seperate little scene contained in it.
The horse with tile-made saddle is a great detail, very unique and original. The puddle in the road, the water in the barrel, and so much more. I think this is THE best use I have ever seen for those printed 'roof' slopes. The bridge, as a center peice, is sweet! The gusto it took to make the whle thing tilted to accomodate the road 'surface' on it is admirable.
A great scene, it surely would have been a harsh contender in the bridge category of the CCC this last go-around!

I saw this while lurking on EB too, I really love the use of those printed slope pieces, a nicely thought out MOC - it would have done great in CCCIV

Great looking bridge. But it looks to me like something from a fantasy setting.

This is indeed a great looking MOC. There is a lot of detail in this creation. Every time I look at it I find something new. This is the sort of thing that inspires me to build in the castle theme.
Very slowly I would imagine - Sorry I couldn’t help myself.Patron of the lego wrote:how did he build that bridge?
