Very nice! I just wonder why there's a giant knight on it... Some sort of Colossus of Rhodes?
Anyway, quite nice, ook! The walls with the bracers (or whatever) are awesome, and the ballistas and boat and battlements (heheh) are also pretty darn cool. Great job!

And this is ook22's side project? Geez, puts my major projects to shame.

Love the angle of the castle (i.e. entrance is on the corner rather than on a face), the use of the window piece for the front gate, the bows + robot arm in brown as ballistae, 1x1 headlight bricks as windows, and the 1x1 corner panels as crenellations. I also kinda like the notches in the 2x2 macaroni bricks - I think it complements your micro castle's walls.

Some tan is showing around the corner towers. If that wasn't intentional, maybe you could use blue plates in that area instead (Although it appears you're using a tan 32x32 baseplate)? Also, did you run out of green 1x4 plates?

So will your next model be miniland scale?

I wasn't thinking it would be that interesting to folks here but I'm glad people dig the micro castle. It just sort of happened by accident I was noodling and a friend of mine joined in helping with the design and construction. The next day I added most of the micro-figs and did a little polish here and there. It's really hard to see but one of my my favortie parts is the "ghost" inside the tower and the little guard who is clearly having a scary moment in there. Another detail I wonder if people catch is the little "splash" made by the fisherman in his boat... And you can't go wrong with a micro-decapitiation by a "mini-giant" scorpion. Heh.

Yeah this wasn't terribly well planned and I didn't feel like tearing the whole thing up once I realized the tan would be peeking out. Finally decided it would be some sand at the base of the castle...

My next project will be minifig scale.

Another amazing MOC ook! You are fitting in very well around here. As far as just about any MOC we are always glad to see. We actually had a mini-castle building contest a little while back.

Anyways, a super detailed mini-MOC! I see you've already addressed the tan issue, so I'll let that slide as per your explanation

This is an excellent micro. I really like the way that the castle doesn't sacrifice detail in order to squeeze itself onto a 32 x 32 baseplate. Excellent use of pieces, although I don't understand why the rat is standing on the tower.

I used the rat as a sort of gargoyle / deity / statue sort of thing. You can see another one as a statue inside the tower in the middle. I'm not sure it makes the most sense ever since they have a giant knight statue on top of the tower... ... not too well thought out I'm afraid...

Well, obviously, the lord's son has taken up stonecarving as a hobby, and he needs space to display his masterpieces. All I can say is, I'm glad those rats are stone.... *shudder* By the way, are the clear bits next to the rat in the keep the 'ghost'?

Another top notch MOC. Microscale is actually fairly popular. I usually do a very boring monochrome MOC-up of a large MOC before I start on the main event. I love all the detail you have worked into such a small space.

Awesome castle... was totally shocked to see it was a micro when I opened it up. Just looks fantastic (and I'm not a huge fan of micro either!).
