why the wolfpack is so weak...supposedly

Post by Strider »

well here it goes.....

once a long time ago when all other factions were small the wolfpack were the strongest faction. unfortunataely, other factions plotted against them. the seige was long and finally the wolfpack fled. other factions grew strong and ruled for many generations. but deep in the cover of the thick forests the wolfpack grew strong once more. Lego simply made the part of the wolfpack that left the main army.

That could be true! TLC wants you to use your imagination so it's not wrong.

I always thought that they were just bandits.

Interestingly enough, I had about the same idea, except I was going to throw Danju in as a sole survivour of the Royal Line of Wolfdom, hence the minute (for my Dan') amount of purple. Except, they really are just bandits now to me, so there we differ again. They definitely have more than three soldiers, though- in fact, they have eleven! Each of these sets I'm linking
to has at least one Wolfpack minifigure.
So they aren't as weak as thought!
Very cool idea.
...and that's how Equestria was made!

Hello!

You can't count 1597 and 1596, because 1596 is a part of 1597. So they are down to ten. Which is still not too small a pack, though.

Oh, I missed that. Thanks for pointing it out.
The point is, though, that people commonly attribute only 3 people to their ranks (from 6038 and 6075), but they actually have over twice that.

I guess you could also say that the wolfpack is weak because they dont have any wolves to help them.

I've always liked the Wolfpack faction. I've actually come to amass quite the army of them, approx 100 or so. I never really used them as rouges, but rather more as Rangers that aided the Forestmen (which I used for Elves).

I tend to use them as a backwards/poor faction. not unlike (although culturally quite different from) Scottish highlanders.

Weak? Nonsense!

I have my "Wolfpack" as a nation of "Wood Elves." They are by no means "weak."

I think there was a wolfpack mini in the black kngihts castle/dungeon masters castle as well but I just may have missed the link.

To me the wolfpacks were rebels, theives, spies, nomads, paid soldiers and just about anything they wanted. They were secretive and had a type of semi government inside other kingdoms and realms. In the end I would not rank them as a major force alone but they could really cause problems for any one faction if they had to by their own forces and manipulation of other groups.

Interesting story. You would think if they had a great army that would be another bonus for your faction!

I use them as a secret rebellion against my LEGO world. They have a network of spies and acquaintances who try to find secret passages and information around the kingdom.

Wolfpack in my lego verse, are thieves and criminals who don't desire power, just money & riches. Like the Ninja, but a bigger over all group. The only alligences some of them serve is that they work in the day in the forests with the forestmen. They hide there true nature until night falls....

Unlike the Ninja, the Wolfpack are not for hire;)
